Most recently I am developing light scattering instrumentation for characterization of proteins, polymers and nanoparticles used in biopharmaceutical, material, and cancer research. Before that I was intimately involved with the development of wireless systems for broadcast, telecommunications, and commercial products throughout much of my career. I have an understanding of most digital and analog modulation types, PLL synthesizers, filters, RF circuits, EMI & EMC, circuit layout, you name it. Radio stuff is cool, and admittedly I am an RF geek but my recent shift back to lasers has been quite satisfying.Specialties: Wireless, RF, analog, and microwave radio circuit and system designer, sonar, lasers.
