Howard Scott has been involved with Northstar Systembuilt since April 2012. Howard has been involved in change management including introducing Lean Manufacturing and Automation Processes to the Northstar production facility. This commenced when the factory was in Marshall MN, and Howard and his team, were heavily involved in moving the plant to the new larger Redwood Falls MN facility. At this time the plant was totally reorganized to the incorporate the latest modular manufacturing techniques which have been gleaned from his global experience in the field.In 2022 we added our second plant in Watertown, SD thereby more than doubling our production capacity. This has enabled us to increase our staffing level to 185+ and we are actively recruiting more.Northstar Systembuilt has traditionally been involved in the manufacture of quality custom built modular homes, hotels, multiplexes and apartment buildings.Northstar is currently undergoing a fresh expansionary phase with the help of an enlarged management team. We are actively acquiring new dealers to market our custom homes and are expanding into the commercial market sector too. During 2006 Uniplan Group expanded it's in house cabinet making division and formed Timberline Bathroom Products to manufacture vanity cabinets for the bathroom trade. This product line has expanded exponentially throughout Australia becoming one of the leading brands of bathroom cabinetry in the country. This has come about through offering exceptional turnaround times for these custom manufactured products which has been possible through the introduction of state of the art, custom built machinery including automated CNC machining centres coupled with the introduction of true one piece flow Lean Manufacturing principles. Timberline Bathroom Products' unequaled customer service has meant our customers benefit from these capabilities every day. Now in 2021 Timberline Bathroom Products are being introduced into the United States market. Timberline has purchased and remodeled a dedicated building for this in Redwood Falls, MN, and is in the process of bring the year's of success in the Australian market to USA.Howard has been instrumental in guiding, managing and financing this fast growing company to where it is today.

Since 1999 Howard Scott and his family have been dedicated to the tourist and holiday park industry though the manufacture of relocatable buildings. Formerly known as Timberline Cabins we re-branded to Uniplan Group to better reflect our vision. From Howard's elementary beginnings Uniplan Group has grown to a multinational company with more than 200 employees plus many devoted contractors. Our facilities in Armidale, NSW include over 5,000m2 of factory space placed on more that 18,000m2 of land. Our office space houses our admin and design staff and includes board rooms, training rooms and a design and colour consultancy suite. In recent years we have also expanded into full modular houses. this has seen our business grow further.Many of our clients who have had the opportunity to visit our head office in Armidale have been awe inspired by our capabilities and facilities.
