I joined Gowling WLG in May 2012 (Wragge & Co. as it was then) from RPC, having trained at Simmons & Simmons (where I became an equity partner in 2001). I retired from Gowling on 30 April 2017 to take up a role as Partner in Reed Smith's Global Disputes Group.I have over 25 years’ experience as a commercial litigator and am best known for advising the accountancy profession on a range of areas including the defence of claims, the management of risk and other strategic business issues.I have advised two-thirds of the Top 20 UK accountancy firms (including 3 of the Big 4) and 14 of the Top 25 international 'networks'. I have also won work from and represented the interests of professional indemnity insurers and actuarial and other financial professionals and corporate clients.Editor of 'Accountability' - a bi-monthly publication directed at the interests of my accountant client base.Regular contributor to accountancy trade press.On the domestic front, Jane and her family run a small Luxury Holiday Cottage business based at their home on the Kent Downs (www.frithfarmhouse.co.uk).
