As CEO of Bluefield Services I am responsible for leading the two companies Bluefield Services - our asset and financial management company, and Bluefield Operations our Operations and Maintenance business. We manage over 450MW of large scale solar assets across the UK.

The Ouse Valley Energy Services Company was formed in 2007 by a group of Lewes residents to deliver a range of energy saving, renewable energy and related projects to the residents of the Ouse Valley & East Sussex . It has come from the Transition Town process, and has been founded by members of the TTL Energy Group.We are assisting the residents of the Lewes District Council area to reduce their carbon emissions through a range of different measures. OVESCo has aleady run one round of the renewables grant scheme for Lewes District Council. With the help of the LDC grants over 50 solar thermal panels were fitted between November 07 and April 08. The project has helped reduce local carbon emissions, reliance on fossil fuels and reduce the effects of local fuel poverty.We have since gone on to build a portfolio of rooftop PV schemes, funded by a share issue in our local community. The first of these - on the roof of Harverys Brewery was the first PV system in the UK to be build using a community share offer. Read some of the story below.

With offices in Sussex, Bristol, London, Oxford, Hampshire, South Wales and Hereford we operate right across the region.I set Southern Solar up twelve years ago to actually get out there and install solar energy systems on peoples homes and businesses. We now have 25 people working in the company, and have installed hundreds of systems for a wide range of clients, both domestic, commercial and public sector.

The Solar Trade Association is the industry body representing the solar industry in the UK. We have over 250 members and have been running for 35 years. New offices in central London. We have working groups focusing on solar thermal, and PV technical issues as well as on lobbying issues and membership.The only credible UK solar trade body.
