Vision: Each of our 5 million neighbors will experience the love and message of Jesus Christ through one or more of our partners. No church or denomination can do it all: The Body of Christ has far more work to do than any one church or any group can do on its own. Even the largest churches in our region are reaching small fractions of the population. To reach a region, we need each other and to: • Equip and mobilize at least a half million Christ followers who are actively on mission in their spheres of influence. • Create greater visibility of physical and spiritual needs and strategic networking of God’s resources to fill these needs. What we do: • We celebrate what God is doing here – creating greater visibility and awe of God within the Church and felt value of the Church in our communities.• We accelerate through organic, collaboration where we share information and resources and team for greater impact.How we work: OneHeartDC is creating an environment for collaboration and multiplied impact greater than the sum of our parts – an eco-system for being “better together.” We seek to break down traditional barriers to John 17 unity and missional effectiveness. A key is building relationships amongst leaders so that they are willing to work together.
