In my role at Transat, I bring a decade and a half of government and public service experience to an industry I have been passionate about from an early age.My desire to help others previously led me to establish a successful career in public service. I have been fortunate to have served as Chief of Staff to Canada's Justice Minister and Senior Advisor to the Mayor of Montreal, responsible for international and inter-governmental relations. It was my privilege to become known as the trusted confidante and "right-hand" of those I served. I am a lawyer with a commerce background by professional training, and have large firm corporate experience as well as work in broader areas of justice and human rights.My ability to bring people of diverse backgrounds together in common cause, both individually and internationally, using my diplomatic and interpersonal skills has given me great satisfaction.My strong belief in the potential of others - as individuals and communities - has driven me to serve community and mentor students throughout my career. I am grateful to match my professional pursuits with a life-long passion for the airline and travel industry.
