After working 4 1/2 years as a factory accountant while seeking to bigger things as I study credentialing courses through iTeach I eventually got got hired and worked the last 2 years as the Calculus/Precalculus teacher for Trinity HS. I guess all things happen in their due time which should go better than my first attempt now that my health issues have been address and being properly treated. I have 22 years working as a bookkeeper and 2 additional years in the field as an accounts payable clerk. I worked 20 of those years for one small business, so I'm loyal, well versed in all aspect of the accounting and bookkeeping field including A/R, A/P, P/R, Sales Taxes, Payroll Taxes, Bank Reconciliation, G/L, and Financial Statements, and most reliable. I have a strong work ethic and believe in doing what what it takes to getting the job done including that sometimes one needs to do what isn't on the job description so flexibility is one of my virtues. Tried the last 4 years as a teacher of record and just plain isn't suited. Did learn what was causing all the my health issues and it wasn't insulin regulation but insulin resistance. Now, with most of the ill effects reversed and healthy enough, looking to be a flight instructor but first things first so now working as a sub in CA (yea yea, but they pay well enough unlike most red states) with an EAA Chapter I can work with (maybe 2), a flying club nearby and the only state who have JC's that do the AMT certification at about 1/10th the costs (other than the tools which you pay during each class and will have the full set by the time you finish).
