Serves as a Senior Joint Logistics Operations Specialist. Performs Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Major Subordinate Command (MSC) mission essential task/due date management, task analysis and directs coordination for data collection with MSC Supply Chain Directors. Reviews data, displays relevant information, identifies trends, draws conclusions, and recommends or initiates appropriate action from a wide range of data sources in support of assigned programs, key projects, and exercises. Develops and recommends actions to resolve/mitigate material shortages of items of supply identified by the Military Services (and Whole of Government(WoG)) to be key in nature. Collaborates to achieve quality and timely responses to include tracking, quality control responses for completeness and content, and ensures responses are forwarded in the required timeframes. Responsible for interpreting key DLA, DoD/Military Services & WoG tasks and translating them into DLA Troop Support responsibilities, tasks, programs, and guidance. Tracks completion status of essential HQ DLA taskings and reporting statuses to DLA Command.DLA Troop Support is a Major Subordinate Command of the Defense Logistics Agency located in Philadelphia, PA, with a global presence including offices in Europe & Africa, and the Pacific regions.
