As the CEO of Black Meta Agency, Howard R. Jean leads a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering 1,000,000 Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) women and citizens to excel in the ever-evolving emerging technology industry. Jean is also an Executive Council Chair for the Black Professional International Alliance, Vice Chair for Success for College Foundation, IT Advisory Council Member for the DC Workforce Investment Council, and Board Member for Paige One Foundation in Alexandria, VA. Jean has received numerous accolades and more recently the 2023 Power 50 Under 40 by the US Black Chambers, Inc., sponsored by Wal-Mart, the 2024 Champion of the Culture Award recipient for The Gathering Spot where he's a founding member, and the recipient of the 2024 STEM Trailblazer Award from the DMV Alumni Chapter for Claflin University, a South Carolina HBCU. Jean has also been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Tavis Smiley Show, Black Enterprise, Essence Magazine, Jet Magazine, PBS, NBC Washington, FOX5 News, WPGC, iHeart Radio, NPR, and the cover of ARETE MagazineJean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Claflin University and a Master of Science degree in Education in Social and Philosophical Foundations from Troy University.
