Howard has over 30 years of experience in the insurance and corporate liability defense and corporate counsel fields. He is Outside General Counsel to the firm's Corporate Counsel Clients. He is a Past Chair of the Corporate Counsel Section of the New York State Bar Association and a Past New York State Chair of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM). In 2021 and 2022 Howard was named a Finalist for the CLM Professional of the Year Award for Outside Counsel.Howard is AV Rated from Martindale-Hubbell. He has been recognized as a New York Super Lawyer since 2006 and selected for the Corporate Counsel Edition since 2009. The MTA maintains the panel for all sister agencies. The New York City Transit Authority is one of those agencies. The volume of litigation and number of defense counsel on their panel rivals many small states. We started getting work which initially consisted of trial readiness reports and depositions. The first time we visited the office, many of the Staff Attorneys and Bureau Chiefs knew our firm simply from our reports and motions and raved about us. We then got an opportunity to try one of their cases and with a great result we had the opportunity for more. We have quickly become a go to trial firm for them and one of their regulars. There are few entities that try as many cases as they do.
