Senior Business Leader and Sales Executive with the bulk of my career in Tourism and Hospitality.Prior Senior Vice President of Sales at Playa Hotels & ResortsPreviously I was President of ExpediaCruiseShipCenters, OVC responsible for all phases of this rapidly growing business. At the time of my departure, ECSC, OVC was ranked the 2nd largest grossing Franchise location in North America. Prior to that, I worked at Club Med as VP Sales responsible for all sales revenues for the USA. I developed the sales budgets, incentives and plans to align with our channel and distribution strategies. I managed a team of approximately 100 via 5 Directors that included East and West Field Sales, Group & Incentive Sales, Call Centers and Key Accounts. During my tenure we achieved revenue objectives while reducing our costs of doing business by establishing and maintaining a focused sales discipline that resulted in significantly higher conversion and increased revenues per transaction. Before Club Med I worked with Gem and Cruiselink travel industry consortia organizations responsible for Agency Training that enhanced members’ business acumen and preferred supplier utilization. I also had responsibilities for member acquisition and played a key role in member retention. I have worked at Delta Vacations as a National Accounts Manager. I started my career as a retail travel agency owner. My future plans are to continue my career as a senior sales executive with a major brand in the travel and tourism industry.
