MindAlign a persistent group messaging, IM and presence management solutions was a spin out from the Swiss Bank UBS. Our first client was ABN Amro swiftly followed by Deutsche Bank, RBS, Barcap, Citi, Dresdner, Investec, SCB etc. By the time that Microsoft announced their intent to acquire Parlano, we had over 65 global accounts and were responsible for the majority of them in EMEA. Microsoft finally acquired Parlano in October 2007 and the technology is known as persistent chat and is now part of Lync/Skype for business platform.
