I am responsible for the day-to-day collection operations of the hauling division’s territory. I lead a team of over 70 drivers and 15 support staff including route supervisors, analysts, and our container compactor repair team. I lead the division’s safety record and regulation compliance, productivity, and customer zeal and lead the entire team to embody the company’s values while working cross functionally with other internal teams to perform above goal and expectation. I work side by side with our finance and sales leadership to develop annual budgets, forecast monthly financial performance, and deep dive methods for increasing financial and operational performance.

I provided support for The Home Depot Ohio & Indiana Markets store to home delivery service. I provided dedicated carrier management for box and flatbed trucks completing all big and bulky final mile deliveries. I provided management and support to 95 stores across the Ohio Valley market while providing oversight and management of lane engineering and design, as well as analytics and data analysis for KPI’s. I also managed contract carrier onboarding and recruiting, as well as route and capacity planning. I was responsible for and managed the entire market's margins and financials as well as audit of billing accessorial to meet P&L budget goals.

I was responsible for training, hiring, mentoring, and coaching my employees. I also managed associate performance and ensured adequate department coverage through efficient and effective scheduling. I ensured merchandise was stocked, tracked and reported relevant metrics, and monitored project activity. Managed and developed up to 30 direct reports and was responsible for $7M in annual sales. The Service/Support Manager Preparation Program allowed the opportunity to explore leadership roles while remaining in existing roles. This program consisted of handling complex situations and problems while accomplishing important tasks and maintaining a high level of productivity. Experience and opportunity was given to take the lead on tough tasks while remaining consistent and confident and make efficient use of time and not waste effort.
