Responsible for developing and managing a series of Cybersecurity training courses offered through a Continuous Training Grant from FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security, as part of the National Cybersecurity Preparedness Consortium. Oversee training schedules, course curriculum and course certifications, and serves as main point of contact for TEEX Cybersecurity division inquiries. Coordinates cybersecurity compliance reviews, vulnerability testing, cyber gap analyses, cyber tabletop exercises, customized training developments, and penetration assessments. Manages and recruits a team of instructors, monitors performance and assigns development projects. Essential functions include:Program Management • Manages and oversee training deliveries and assigned projects for the Cyber Defense and Compliance program.• Coordinates schedules and deliveries and ensure instructors are properly equipped for classes.• Conducts Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing to identify any vulnerabilities in the client’s system.• Reviews and develops Cyber-Security Response and Recovery Plans for clients.• Prepares and updates course and technical assistance schedules.• Develops, updates, refines project budgets, develops draft proposals, and contracts under general supervision of the Program Director.• Periodically monitors cyber instructors, course deliveries, and technical assistance activities for quality assurance purposes.• Provides technical expertise to clients in cyber-security and information technology.• Designs and delivers cyber security related exercises to include: Tabletops and functional exercises.• Markets Agency and Division programs and events to potential customers and students.• Prepares an annual training calendar that includes instructor assignment.• Ensures technical assistance projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include fostering relationships between Bryan ISD CTE educators with business and industry while improving the capacity for success among existing local CTE programs. Help to develop cooperative relationships with key stakeholders in targeted regional areas, as well as in the Texas Education Agency. Development of curriculum and instructional materials for local, regional, state and national program improvement. Essential functions include: Develop and execute plans to support local CTE Programs of Study in curriculum and instruction; Develop and support Programs of Study in Bryan ISD, including the development of a new Cyber Security career pathway;Cultivate and maintain a communication system creating regular contact with key stakeholders;Establish and maintain brand recognition through social media outreach; Implement local, district, regional and national strategies for the growth of Career and Technical Student Organization in Bryan ISD;Utilize outreach strategies to increase business and industry partnerships to support student career readiness in Bryan ISD; Design and execute Professional Development workshops that apply current educational resources and initiatives to ensure CTE growth and participation; Collaborate with the Texas Education Agency, and Professional CTE Teacher Organizations in Texas to foster relationships that encourages membership growth and participation, and support the alignment of CSTOs in TEKS implementation;Strategize with school district administration to build or enhance the experiences of CTSOs within new or existing chapters;Administer, support and maintain Bryan ISD CTE implementation to include budgeting, program logistics, and curricular and instructional support

The executive board is an eight-year responsibility to the TIVA organization. Positions held while on the board include, District 7 Board Member, President-elect, President and soon to be Past-President. The responsibilities of the executive board include the management and operations of the affairs and funds of the association, which is subject to the support and expression of the membership. Essential functions include:• Establish Strategic planning for 1, 3 and 10 years;• Define organizational core values expressed in the organizational Mission and Vision statements;• Development of the of an annual business plan which includes detailed annual budgeting and annual strategic goals;• Identify managerial procedures to guide operations of the association;• Coordinate board of director committee activities and assignments;• Evaluate the accomplishments of the association through the performance of the Executive Director;• Authorize expenditures;• Preside over all Board meetings; • Coordinate the activities of the state board of directors, including annual meetings, with the executive director;• Act as liaison for the Texas Education Agency to support legislative initiatives and tasks;• Collaborate with the State Board of Education, and the Texas Education Agency to foster relationships that encourages membership affiliation, legislative participation, TEKS reviews and curricular committees, and support the alignment of Perkins funding for CTE and CTSOs.
