Worked two different positions with this particular company. Primarily, I was apart of the grounds crew that made sure the country club's golf course was trimmed daily and maintained to expert quality. Job Duties:* Operate a standing and sitting lawnmower daily, trimming the entire course.* Clean the bunkers of debris using a Sandpro and rakes.* Water greens and tees and perform general string trimming where necessary.* Perform general maintenance on broken gear and equipment.* Drive a work cart to and from certain job sites, many times carrying a trailer and equipment.* Assist customers with any directions or help they might need on the course.Secondly, I was a prep cook in the kitchen and directly assisted the head chef in making 100's of meals. Worked two different positions for this company. Primarily working as a busboy, cleaning tables but also as a host, greeting and seating guests. Busboy - Job Duties:* Work very closely with the hosts to maintain an efficient work order and keep up with table orders.* Carry heavy loads of dishes from the tables back to the kitchen, many times taking two trays a time.* Scrape all the plates off and put them into different racks depending on the plate or glassware.* Wipe all tables clean and set them with silverware. * Make sure all the condiments are stocked and promo flyers are wiped clean.* Ensure the seating for each table was clean and in working order. * Vacuum the entire restaurant after dinner and make sure all trash was taken out.Host - Job Duties:* Greet all the guest with a smile and assist with any questions they may have.* Seat the guests and keep track of the guests and the seating order when a "wait" would occur.* Work with the servers and assign sections for them to take guests, all while maintaining a fair order.* Answer the phone and assist customers with directions, questions, and take out orders.* Gave children "lobster shows" where I would take live lobsters out and show them off.* Take lobsters back to the kitchen when they were ordered to cook.* Keep the front of house clean and clean the bathrooms after every shift.
