About Alison Howell, M. Ed

I have over fifteen years in the K-16 education setting, working with students, faculty, staff and alumni. My focus is on academic and career coaching, college relations, employer relations, workshop development and event hosting. I hold a master's degree in Counseling and have completed 48 International Coaching Federation (ICF) coaching hours and completed the Global Career Development Facilitation (GCDF) certification. My counseling attributes consist of active listening, compassion and bringing my authentic self to the coaching/advising relationship.I believe there is no secret to success -Opportunity and change come from setting a goal and envisioning yourself through that goal to the next one. One cannot think "I have to" they must tell themselves "I get to!" When you keep your thoughts and your mind positive and set on your goal(s) endless opportunities will arise and you can work your way to success.I enjoy working with others helping to empower them by asking the hard questions, clarifying strengths, values and what motivates them. I love meeting new people and the reciprocity of networking.Specialites: Counseling CoachingCareer Development FacilitatorWorkshop Development and DeliveryEvent PlanningJob Readiness SkillsRelationship Building/Networking Recruitment
