As a member of Supply Chain Delivery - Powertrain I have 2 main jobs/focuses.As a buyer, I oversee placing orders to my suppliers, tracking orders (verifying shipment status, received status), expediting orders, or personally retrieving and anything else needed to ensure parts go to assembly to keep the assembly line from shutting down. As an Analyst SIOP process (Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning) I was part of the Demand Capacity Planning team. I provided ad-hoc or scheduled reporting as the business needs required, to support Demand Capacity Planning for all of the Fabrication Plants. My support included utilization of the following programs: Syteline ERP, CMS, Power BI, and MS Excel. Some of the support I would provide included: Data mining, data manipulation, and data analysis. Different approaches to do this included: utilizing Microsoft Excel to view the data, formulas and programming with VBA or recording MACROs for automation purposes, and creating or using pivot tables, pivot charts, charts, and graphs for analysis and visibility of Data.I was also assigned multiple “Premium” Projects for presentation at the executive level. Some of those projects included: Tracking market share data of each of our customers in the automotive industry, to show to show the outlook and forecast for potential revenue from that industry; Tracking of inventory, to show how much product of each category “has been made” (”on-hand”), compared to “work in progress” (WIP), compared to “has been shipped”; and Tracking job orders that were “dropped in” from the customer, showing the work centers needed for each job order, and showing the hourly impact to each work center.

I worked several different roles in this 2-year span including Packaging, Machine Operating, Hydro-Blasting, learning the ins and outs of manufacturing. I was also a member of the Michelin Emergency Response Team (ERT) and was a Certified Industrial Firefighter in Kentucky.

I was on a team that monitored the Call Center call traffic for each call center in the different lines of business across the country, and we supervised and controlled the staffing of the call centers of our assigned line of business.One of the systems used was WFM (Workforce Management System) Aspect; This was used to access agent information and work schedule.I would utilize databases created with Visual Basic Code that extracted data used for projection of call forecasting and monitoring the current calls against the forecasted calls at any given time. I tracked the number of calls coming in and the number of agents needed for those calls.I monitored call metrics (ASA, AHT, and CIQ) and strictly monitored schedule adherence and observed absenteeism (call outs, no call no show, and partial absence) to ensure the customers calls would be answered in a respectable amount of time; using MACROs and formulas to sort Data to assist with Root/Cause Analysis for trends that affect key metrics.

I oversaw monitoring changes of the aircraft as specified by the customer, ensuring that engineering can incorporate that change by the requested time frame, coordinating with Engineers, Quality, Assembly, and other departments to verify stage of the change, providing support of those departments, by holding meetings and allowing time for the explanation of the changes (Set time, coordinate with those to be in meeting, send out minutes, etc.)I developed and recommended the use of charts, graphs, and pivot tables, and other tracking systems to track the change requests utilizing Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel to house the data and using programming knowledge of VBA, Macros, and formulas for data analysis and data configuration for these tracking systems and from these tracking systems.I developed and maintained different Excel workbooks using VBA and Macros that compiled data from multiple sources and allowed for fast searching of information, configured and modified database and workbook information into Pivot Tables and weekly charts to show Department Visibility, used Excel to create multiple databases that would be used company-wide for viewing part information, and I used programming knowledge of VBA, Macros, and formulas for data analysis and data configuration of all the databases that I created, ran, and monitored.

As a supervisor I took call takeovers for several different scenarios up to but not limited to irate customers and advanced troubleshooting. I was on a few projects while a Lead. I ran the Help Desk for Customer Assistants in order to provide direction and support to provide stellar customer service and improved KPI. I sat on the Callback Team, and I was a Team Coordinator. The biggest project I was on was the Truck Roll Initiative. On this project I oversaw dispatch approval or denial for each individual call or need respectively. I reviewed dispatch requests from call center agents and was responsible for positive dispatch rates of 85% or above. As a Tier 2 Technical support and advanced troubleshooting the duties included the following for residential and small business customers… Support For PC, Mac, and Linux included TCP/IP connection troubleshooting, Data migration from old email accounts to new, Virus/malware detection/removal, System configuration, Optimization and performance enhancement, Application training for certain applications, Parental control enablement, Anti-virus/anti-spyware software installation and management, Email client configuration (Outlook, Outlook Express, Mac Mail, and Thunderbird). Support for Smart phones included integration with WLAN and Email configuration. And Support for Networks included wireless network setup, wireless network security assistance (i.e.WPA-PSK, WEP), and VOIP setup for business customers.
