Ennaid is a development-stage specialty pharmaceutical company swiftly developinginhibitors to treat and prevent SARS Coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and 2019 NovelCoronavirus (2019 n-CoV), an outbreak associated with a pneumonia outbreak in Wuhan Cityin China. Ennaid intends to have the inhibitors ready for commercial launch within 18 to 20months.Ennaid Therapeutics is also developing an orally deliverable anti-viral peptide that treats and prevents Zika virus and has 9+ additional indications to treat and prevent the following viruses: dengue, chikungunya, West Nile, hepatitis c, yellow fever, tick-borne encephalitis, Japanese encephalitis, European encephalitis, Kyasanur Forest virus. Ennaid’s anti-flavivirus technology is the result of a collaboration between Ennaid Therapeutics, Florida Gulf Coast University, and the University of Washington. Modified peptide-based inhibitors of the Zika and Dengue entry and infection process have shown inhibition in preliminary studies. Ennaid’s digital health division is developing software technologies to detect, objectively quantitate, measure and monitor neurological disorders, such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), specifically concussions, Gullian Barrè syndrome (often caused by mosquito-borne diseases), Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, schizophrenia and other neurological disorders. Using Repeatable Objective Measurement of Eyestrack (ROME), ROME is a fast, inexpensive eyetracking technology built on an eyetrack controlled wheelchair yielding repeatable and objective eye-tracking that offers extreme value for the initial assessment, monitoring and continued care of patients with neurological disorders. The technology was invented by Vehware and utilizes student teams at Binghamton University for its development. In a cooperative licensing agreement with Vehware, Ennaid is developing Vehware’s eyetracking healthcare applications.

VehWare was a Development-stage company located in upstate New York. The company started in Atlanta Georgia developing technologies for the transportation industry. VehWare has been working with student teams on projects that have included detection of vehicles around large vehicles, an eye track controlled wheelchair and concussion detection using eye tracking. VehWare and Ennaid, a development stage company pharma company, have been working closely leveraging the technology and healthcare strengths of both companies. Future plans include the merger of the companies with our founder becoming the COO of Ennaid and VehWare becoming the technology development division of Ennaid. The first product to be launched through this relationship is the Repeatable Objective Measurement of Eyetrack (ROME) system. The ROME system will provide a new method of brain function testing that provides fast, reliable, and inexpensive results, without the requirement of baseline tests. Based on software-based eye tracking, pupil dilation analysis and eyeblink detection, our design aims to detect concussions and other brain-related issues using a single automated and enclosed system. The system will be completely portable and can be used as a research tool either at a medical professional’s office or at the scene of an injury to deliver immediate results. In the case of on-site testing, the aim is to remove the subjectivity from traditional field tests performed. An additional market that shows great potential is sports where the ability to track an athletes through a career.This system will provide both the auditory and visual stimuli and include data analysis software that will be capable of detecting atypical eye track, blink reaction times, blink durations, pupil dilation reaction times, and pupil dilation sizes that are indicative of the presence of brain-related trauma. The system is expected to be able to narrow the magnitude of injury within the brain to particular location.

Held a Class A Commercial driver license with hazardous material, tanker, and double or triple trailer endorsements. Duties at Robert Bosch LLC were support of durability and performance testing of heavy and light vehicles, at the Bosch Automobile Proving Grounds. Prototype vehicles were tested for companies that included Freightliner, Diamler, Ford, General Motors, Toyota and Navistar.

Pacific Missile Range Facility, Kauai HawaiiWrote complex technical documents on systems capabilities, and systems development. Proposed changes in organizational structure, staffing levels, procedures, and funding methods. Authored technical paper on system improvements that included cost estimates and timelines. Utilized universal documentation system (UDS) for written reports. Reviewed various program requirements and developed reports that identified support, system, and funding issues that would affect program support.

Managed all aspects of commercial photography and photographic processing company. Interacted with various clients, including ad agencies and printing companies, planning and providing photographic images to meet their need. In many cases developed marketing programs for clients utilizing presentation, print, and Internet formats. Supported the Pacific Missile Range Facility marketing efforts and was instrumental in laying groundwork for the decision by NASA to conduct flight test of the Pathfinder UAV at PMRF. Developed and presented PowerPoint briefings for company and clients. Utilized Desktop Publishing, and Photoshop skills to support clients. Directed a workforce of twelve fulltime employees. Handled all payroll, federal, and state taxes. Maintained all processing and photographic equipment, which required a working knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and schematics. The effects of 9/11 had a significant impact on client base that resulted in closure of business.

Provided program management and technical support at Pacific Missile Range Facility. Analyzed customer requirements and conducted briefings with users, command program personnel and operational personnel to ensure that requirements and objectives were understood and adhered to. Proposed ways to develop capabilities beyond the scope of currently available systems to support future programs. Wrote complex technical documents on capabilities and methods for instrumenting test programs.Was part of team that marketed PMRF at national and international technical symposia and conferences. Interacted with prospective range users providing information regarding range capabilities and assets, this required me to stay current and knowledgeable on all aspects of PMRF operations. Marketing efforts aimed at high-level personnel in the defense department, senate, and private industry ensured that PMRF remained a viable asset during various rounds of base closures.Left company due to government contract change and a business opportunity.

Pacific Missile Range Facility, Kekaha, Hi 96752 01/90-01/95 retirementManaged the Visual Information Programs, including day-to-day operation, quality control and supply functions. Developed a reputation as an effective problem solver, and was asked on multiple occasions to take permanent or temporary assignments to commands with serious operational and organizational problems. I always rose to the challenge of these assignments, with spectacular results. Related information and ideas to engineers and scientists to determine equipment needs and ensure optimum coverage. As Optical Program manager developed and implemented complex systems for support of range events. Developed strategic plans for future improvements in systems and infrastructure, including proposal and specifications for Stabilized High mobility Optical Tracking System (SHOTS). Produced proposals for support of various future range programs. Authored technical papers and whitepaper on system improvements and funding requirements to support future tests that was submitted to the Senate Appropriation committee, which approved $2M in funds to begin development.Developed marketing materials that included exhibit, video, and print formats. Provided exhibit support at local, national and international technical symposia and conferences. Interacted with interested prospective users providing information regarding capabilities and assets. Provided public relations support by authoring articles, producing videos and photographs for release to local, national and international media. Introduced and implemented digital systems that supported increased workload, while reduced chemical usage by 75 percent.
