I have a PhD in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, where I developed a COMSOL model to predict and optimize the thermal and electrical performance of large-format pouch cells.As a postdoctoral scientist at ICL Group, I lead the battery lab build out at the R&D site in New York, where I design, test, and evaluate new battery materials. I am currently working on the LFP product development under a $197M award from the US Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which aims to expand domestic manufacturing of batteries for electric vehicles and the electrical grid.
