I am a litigator who represents businesses and individuals in a multifaceted state and federal practice comprised of construction, commercial development, and condemnation litigation across the Southeast.Prior to joining Parker Poe, I practiced with a midsize insurance defense firm in Charleston, South Carolina, where I advised on complex business litigation, trucking and transportation defense, real property litigation, construction litigation, and personal injury defense.While attending the Charleston School of Law, I served as a law clerk for the Office of Ocean Coastal Resource Management and the Capital Trial Division for South Carolina’s Commission on Indigent Defense.Before beginning my legal career, I worked for an international consulting firm in Washington, DC, that advised many of the largest health care systems in the U.S. on how to implement cost estimation tools to deliver patients with transparent pricing information for routine surgeries.I am a leader within the Environment and Natural Resources Section of the South Carolina Bar. I was elected by my peers within the legal community to serve on its council. I am also an active member of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association and a graduate of the Defense Trial Academy.
