Before my law enforcement career, I spent seven years as a highschool educator and coach, where I was given the opportunity to sharpen my leadership and communication skills. I joined the ranks of the Houston Police Department shortly before Hurricane Harvey left a profound mark on our community.During my career, I served our city in various capacities:👮 Patrol Officer: I dedicated myself to safeguarding the Northwest, Northeast, and Greenspoint communities, responding to emergencies, and fostering community trust.🕵️ Midwest Crime Suppression Team: As a member of this specialized team, our mission was to proactively combated violent crime. We specialized in developing crime patterns, investigating UCR Part I crimes, leveraging advanced technology and investigative techniques to identify and apprehend violent suspects, and executing warrants.💻 Technical Operations Group (TechOps): Currently, I am part of the Houston Police Department's Technical Operations Group. Our unit analyzes crime data and patterns to develop strategic deployment plans for ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) technology, enhancing public safety throughout the region. Our team's expertise is also a vital asset in supporting high-profile investigations.🌟 Special Response Group (SRG) Member since 2018: In this role, I've had the honor of working major events such as the Democratic Presidential Debate in 2019, the World Series, the NCAA Final Four, and various protests and gatherings where large groups of people gather.
