Heath Peine is an education consultant at Corwin with a wealth of experience in teaching, instructional coaching, and administration at both building and district levels. As a district-level instructional coach, Heath provided exceptional support and development in math, reading, and behavior across the district, from individual student needs to system-level improvement initiatives.In his role as an executive director in a large district, Heath held a variety of responsibilities, including director of elementary special education and instructional coaching director. As an assistant superintendent, he spearheaded the development and implementation of MTSS and PLCs, leading to significant systemic improvements and a Challenge Award from his state’s Department of Education for closing the achievement gap for economically disadvantaged students.Heath's passion for supporting educators and students goes beyond the scope of serving in a school district. He has partnered with the National Center for Systemic Improvement to provide webinars, resources, and conference presentations. He has also served on multiple state department advisory committees and held leadership roles in state and national professional associations.
