A customer facing product development role serving the automotive aftermarket, OEM's, construction, mining, materials handling and defence markets. Key Responsibilities:• Development of safety critical products from concept to production, including prototyping, simulation, physical testing, creating production 3D models & drawings and working with suppliers.• Production equipment design, assembly and commissioning. • Management of project timelines, budgeting and homologation.

Part of a team investigating integrity in aircraft structures for the Department of Defence. My role was centred around the use of thermoelastic stress analysis to determine stress intensity factors and predict crack growth. Responsibilities: • Designing test samples & test procedures• Carrying out tests• Analysis of results using MATLAB and correlating with an FEA model• Report writing

Part of a small team, gathering and processing data at several research sites across South Australia and New South Wales. Designed, built and tested a mobile scale used to measure vineyard yield in real time during harvest.
