With the understanding that the majority of my work at Google remains confidential, I was part of a team developing a product that has not yet been announced. I built the team’s integration testing framework which brings up the entire product and runs through an automated set of interactions, while checking the state and visual appearance of the product for differences. I also led a project, which remains confidential, and was one of the first projects by my team to be completed ahead of schedule. I attribute my success on this project to both my strong leadership and the drive and determination of my team. My experiences here include team leadership, JavaScript with Closure, HTML with Closure Templates, CSS with GSS, and Java.

I was responsible for developing software to solve the state mandated needs of professional teacher evaluation. My team and I have developed a powerful system to meet the complex needs of the rubrics defined by each district to use for evaluating their teachers. Our system integrates with the other product we offer, a professional development resource library. Our tools help determine which resources best fit the needs of individual teachers. My experiences here include AngularJS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js. Other experience here has included integration of an open source ORM JavaScript library (Nymph.io) that I developed independently.

I was responsible for developing and implementing systems in order to keep Facebook’s services online. This mostly included systems work in Python, front end work in PHP/JavaScript, and some statistical work in C++. I also participated in several hackathon events, where I worked in both PHP and Java (Android). My experiences here include PHP, Hack for HipHop, JavaScript, Python, Java, CSS, Bash, C++, Linux server administration, and implementing statistical algorithms for log aggregation.

I developed and maintained Pines, the system used to manage our financial services. Almost all of our operations are managed through Pines. It includes Point of Sale, eCommerce platform, inventory control, Customer Relations Manager, Human Resource Manager, and Content Management System. This system also runs the website, and the internal site for our sales staff. I also designed and managed our servers, which run Linux. I used Apache, PostgreSQL, OpenLDAP, Postfix, Dovecot, and Asterisk on our servers. My experiences here include PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, PostgreSQL, HTML, Bash, and Linux server administration.

I created and maintained the JRP SoCal website. I used the CMS, Joomla, to create the website, which could then be updated easily by the staff.I also continued work here on my PHP framework that would eventually become Pines. It was called Dandelion when I was here and had relatively few features.
