• Preparation of Monthly MIS and analyze the variance against Budget• Guiding Accounting teams in GCC and India to ensure timely month wise books closing• Ensure compliance with the IFRSs, VAT, Company Policies & Procedures• Preparation of Outlet wise Budgets, forecasts and likely estimate.
• Preparation of Periodic Business Review presentation for Group Directors. • Monitoring of cash flow and working capital management.• Preparation of annual consolidated financial statements consolidating other GCC territories• Responsible for capitalization and tagging of all assets in new outlets• Evaluating the opportunities for cost savings and growth opportunity.• Resolution of queries raised by Statutory and Internal auditors

• Review new systems, manuals, software, procedures, records and management controls for their adequacy to accomplish intended objectives;• Review compliance of various Functions with established company policies and management instructions, and obtain management agreement to take corrective actions in case of any discrepancies noted.• Execute audits in a professional manner, and in accordance with departmental standards and the audit programme.• Use various audit tools and exception reports of the Company’s various accounting, merchandising, planning or other software to conduct audits efficiently.• Compile Audit working papers file for all Audit reviews, as an evidence of audit observations, to facilitate easy review by the Manager - Internal Audit.• Present audit observations effectively in closing meetings with Auditee, and obtain their agreement on recommendations suggested by the Internal Audit team.• Attend stock-takes at stores / warehouses to validate the reliability of the count process, and analyse stock-take variances from published stock-take results.

• Handling IFRS 9 Implementation project• Creation of GL in Group Chart of Accounts• Preparation of External Reporting for Regulators in Finance Systems• Designing and implement accounting rules in line with Ongoing accounting & System requirements.• Leading process transition & implementation.
