Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the information security management system (ISMS), leading to ISO27001 certification of Raet in 2011. As required for an effective security management program Hans-Peter formalized the risk management approach, developed the security policy and coached the organisation to implement effective security measures. Part of his responsibility is to measure the effectiveness of and compliance with the security policy. Supported by his background in IT-audit Hans-Peter performs internal compliance audits, vulnerability assessments and coordinate external security tests. As information security covers confidentiality, integrity and availability part of his daily job is to maintain the BCM by performing business impact analyses, assist business and system owners maintain their recovery plans and make sure the BMC is tested for effectiveness.

As Co-owner of KKvR Hans-Peter shared responsibility for a start-up who provided a accessible platform for buying art reproductions. Being part of a small team, Hans-Peter focused on the web development and product distribution.

In addition to performing IT-audits, mainly to provide assurance for financial statements and SAS70, focus has shifted to information security. As part of the Security & Privacy group of Enterprise Risk Services, Hans-Peter performed vulnerability assessments, intrusion test and supported organisations towards their ISO27001 readiness. During this period Hans-Peter also gained international experience during his deployment to America.

As part of the control assurance group of Enterprise Risk Services, Hans-Peter performed IT- and privacy audits for small to medium sized organizations and local governments. These audits mainly focus on general computer controls, application controls, IT security controls and the Dutch privacy act (Wet bescherming persoonsgegevens). Additional to the audits activities Hans-Peter consulted in business information security projects, modelling of IT processes and the development of audit frameworks.
