I am a higher education admissions professional with fifteen years of experience in recruitment, operations, and marketing for both undergraduate and graduate universities. I have had a role in almost every facet of the admission process, from event planning and application review to long-term strategic planning and data-driven enrollment management.For several years, I have focused my career on the intersection between marketing and admissions, building recruitment, application, yield, and anti-melt campaigns which authentically and effectively communicate the values and practical benefits of liberal arts and graduate education to prospective students. In particular, I have focused my professional development on learning and implementing best practices in lead generation and prospect-to-applicant conversion, with particular emphasis on digital communications and the importance of “fit” when recruiting students.I also enjoy learning about and using technology to support the enrollment management cycle. I am familiar with database management and knowledgeable of HTML/CSS, web design, and design software. I also have extensive experience with Slate, enrollment management software from Technolutions, having been part of two implementation teams, for both graduate and undergraduate applications. I was also fortunate to be asked to present about utilizing Slate for multi-channel marketing at the graduate level during the 2015 Slate Summit in Hartford, CT.
