I am able to manage multiple projects at the same time with great efficiency but over the years, working both as a freelancer and in demanding workplaces I have acquired the ability to come up with a plan/solution, many times on the spot, and see it through.My career started in Iceland as a chef but I have worked in a variety of restaurants, hotels, embassies and private events. This experience spans over 13 years and during that time I have gained experience in managing people, handle stressful situations or busy periods. I have trained people, been a leader and taken control of operational parts of a business.I finished my culinary diploma in 2016.I have also finished a BA degree in audio engineering, but I learned all the basics in the audio world and did hands-on lessons. We studied using the Audient asp8024, SSL 6000 and Avid S6 mixing consoles. I am now able to setup a recording session and record a band/artist, I can do mixing, mastering and can set up a speaker system for a small venue (check frequencies and tune the speakers to a given space). I worked mostly on Ableton live and Pro tools but I am familiar with the basics of any DAW.I believe that the key to a successful business (especially when working in a team) is creating a good working environment and treating everyone with respect, and this is something I always strive for when I have to take the lead.Businesses can only grow and succeed if people are happy in their work.
