The International Panel on Accountancy Education is a key feature of IFAC’s approach to advancing accountancy education at the global level. The Panel is instrumental in advising IFAC on how to best assist professional accountancy organizations in preparing 'future-ready accountants'.Panel members represent key stakeholders across the profession, including professional accountancy organizations, accountants in practice and business, and academics. After a rigorous assessment process, only 22 members from different countries became part of this strategic global forum, and I'm honored to represent Pakistan and ICAP for a term of 3 years.

Beginning in 2017, I served as an elected member of the Southern Regional Committee (SRC) of ICAP for 4 years. Later in 2021, I contested the National Council elections and secured a place therein for a 4-year term with 2nd highest votes. In 2022, I was unanimously elected as a Vice-President by the Council. I have also served as Chairperson of the Investigation Committee and CPD Committee. In addition, I have been part of various initiatives, committees, and taskforces of ICAP, including the ESG Working Group, SBP Coordination Committee, Education & Training Committee, etc.

During my experience at EY, I led small and large sized teams engaged on audits, consulting, advisory engagement of all sizes of orgaisations in diverse rage of industries including large multinational organisations and strategic government organisations.I also served in Dubai Office and Jeddah Office of Ernst & Young. Working in overseas offices of EY helped me to professionally develop myself in multi-cultural and multi-linguistic working environments.
