About Håvard Blålid Refvik

Project engineer mainly responsible for hydrodynamics at OVUM AS. However, as part of an innovative technology company within the aquaculture sector, I am also responsible and developer of our technological documentation systems, developer of our quality systems and taking part in 3D modelling and design of Egget, our semi-closed fish farming concept. Of the hydrodynamical tasks, my responsibilities range from Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) of the internal water flows in Egget to load calculations and analysis of sloshing, slamming, motions in waves and so on. My experience so far contains a variety of tasks, from my Master of Science degree as well as from 5 years of analytics, model testing, design and development in the hydrodynamic testing facility of Stadt Towing Tank. I thrive with the varied tasks needed to develop both the complex product that is our semi-closed fish farming concept, and the procedures, culture, and technical systems of OVUM AS.
