After serving in the US Navy Submarine Service (San Diego) and River Assault Flotilla ONE (Vietnam), Paul became an Engineer and Product Support Manager for Large Information Systems with General Electric & Honeywell. Working evenings he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from College in Phoenix AZ and later received his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. After Honeywell Paul went on to get his Commercial Real Estate License with Marcus & Millichap in Phoenix and after the 1986 financial downturn caused by the revision to Uniform Limited Partnership Act – revision of 1985 moved to Chicago and joined, as a partner, an IT consulting firm and became an Oracle DBA. He consulted for many large corporations including IBM, Abbot, TAP Pharmaceuticals, Lucent Technology, Homart Development (The Shopping Center Development arm of Sears), TransUnion and more that included the following: Operations in multi-industry including Real Estate, Construction, Banking, Insurance, Telephonics & Communications, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural Organic Production and Bio-fuel Technology, Financial Planning, and a SBA Loan Officer during the COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster.In 2022, Paul returned to the Financial Industry and has focused on working with CPAs, helping them offer more proactive and holistic planning to their clients. He has worked and/or lived in the United States and the United Kingdom. He currently resides in Santa Fe New Mexico with a second home that he built in the Southern mountains of Colorado overlooking the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the Purgatory Valley. Outside of work, building homes and finishing his 1965 Cobra replica , Paul is an adventurer and scuba diver and is involved in helping other people plan for retirement. Currently a student at The American College working on his RICP (Retirement Income Certificated Professional) designation.
