As Head of Finance, I work hard to ensure that Logicserve manages its cash well to fund its impressive growth story and the planned exponential growth, and to make sure that we are never out of funds! This means working closely with the internal teams, customers and suppliers, and involves controlling the core accounting and financial processes of Budgeting and Forecasting, Invoicing and collections, Accounts Payable, Payrolls, Tax and Statutory compliance and legal & commercial contract negotiation, compliance and management

Looking after the entire F&A function for the client, reporting directly to the Finance Director. Responsible for the outcome of team’s work on • Payroll processing - end to end, including payroll helpdesk – 1000 plus employees, various pay frequencies)• Management Accounts - 4 group companies, 10 branches, monthly profitability analysis of over 400 sites or contracts• Accounts payable - invoice processing through to payment runs and MIS• UK VAT - VAT processing and payments• Bank Reconciliations – current accounts and Invoice discounting/factoring accounts• Year end and audit support – Handling auditors queries• Ensuring the project meets strict quality and TAT benchmarks, as agreed with the client.• Root cause Analysis for departures from processes, and identifying and putting in place a corrective action to fix the issues• Handling client escalations, if any.

• Preparing management accounts for the service department - one the most important Revenue Source for the company.• Preparing Budgets & Forecasts in line with the central budget and departmental performance.• Analysing any variation from the Budget/Forecast and reporting on it to the Finance Director.• Working closely with Departmental Managers to monitor performance of each department and the whole Revenue Source.• Preparing other ad-hoc management reports for the Directors.

Reporting to the Financial Controller. Work done included:• Providing excel based reports to Management, covering everything from profitability to aged debtors analysis.• Managing Company budgets, by compiling all departmental budgets and updating budgets with actual results as they emerge.• Helping Financial Controller with VAT analysis• Managing Fixed Assets Register, with over 10,000 assets in the register• Helping bought ledger department with supplier statement reconciliations.• Helping Credit control Department with Aged Debtors reports and chasing Aged Debtors.
