Expirienced consultant of the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, World Bank, Council of Europe, UNDP, British Council, European Commission as well as on development of creative economy in Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Albania. Thought leader with 20 years of progressive experience in policy planning, research and analysis of local and regional development of creative economy, with a particular focus on job creation, economic fairness, and improvement of economic well-being in cultural and creative industries. Author and director of the „Creative Entrepreneurship Serbia” programme, one of five finalists UNESCO-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman International Prize for the Creative Economy in 2021.Associate professor at Metropolitan University in Belgrade, Faculty for Drama Arts, University of Arts Belgrade, and the Head of Research and Development at the Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Experienced scientific researcher focused on creative industries, creative and art entrepreneurship, the cultural economics and heritage revitalisation through creative entrepreneurship. Since 2020, she has been directing the "Creative Glass Serbia" Initiative, a visionary project dedicated to the digital transformation of glass heritage. Dr. Mikić is at the forefront of developing new approaches to revitalize glass making through creative entrepreneurship. The initiative also involves the application of metaglass concepts at both heritage and industry levels, along with curating immersive art experiences within the glass industry and glass crafts.
