She has hands-on experience building high-performing teams and scaling high-growth companies and startups across healthcare as the top advisor to the CEO and executive team. Most recently, Karisma served as the North America head of HR strategy and people operations at Novo Nordisk, and before that as the US head of HR for Aerie Pharmaceuticals, where she supported commercialization, manufacturing operations, and consecutive new product launches. Throughout her career, Karisma has specialized in driving modernization in the transformation of HR, developing leaders and coaching cultures, and enhancing innovation and organizational capabilities for achievement of business goals, transitions, and outcomes.Karisma has deep experience engaging with executive teams, the Board of Directors and Compensation Committees, ensuring trust and credibility, and forging effective communication channels to increase transparency of leadership decisions with the employee community. Karisma has a BA in Business & Leadership from Concordia University, Irvine and an MBA in Finance from Argosy University, Denver.
