Lead HR, for all human resources functions including compensation, performance management, talent development, compliance, organizational development, employee relations, and strategic planning. Report directly to the Managing Partner, building programs that align with best practices and industry competitiveness.

AJB Software was acquired by Verifone Canada Inc. Led the integration of the 2 Canadian offices into the US systems. Functioned as a Director, HRBP. My main focus is to support/implement corporate policy at the business unit/division level. Support includes*Facilitating leadership development efforts, and working with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues.*Resolving employee relations issues through a systematic approach. *Assist senior management in the development of solutions through cultural and process perspective organizational development.*Drive company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., compensation, stock option grants recruitment, talent retention, and organizational change). Overall strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff. Help support the business build capabilities to deliver results!

Leading a company that has doubled its sales in the last 2 years, resulting in 10% increase in headcount, year over year, for the last 3 fiscal periods has been very rewarding. The last 24 months have been spent building a new management system to support that growth. What we learned during this transformation fundamentally changed the way we think and act to the demands of the business!• Provide the vision and establish key performance indicators for all HR programs within the organization to include recruitment, compensation, performance management, benefits, rewards & recognition, organizational development, policy development, and compliance.• Plan, direct, and establish initial targets for new HR initiatives to ensure continuity with current programs and successful delivery to end-users.• Manage the recruitment team to ensure we are attracting and retaining the right talent using the most cost-effective methods without sacrificing quality of deliverables.• Manage the Finance department to ensure internal controls and processes are being adhered to and financial reports are produced in an accurate and timely manner. Coach, mentor, and develop staff to build a strong independent functional area to meet current and future business needs.

Company restructured to accommodate a long tenured employee’s retirement. Created new position of Director and increased scope to include Accounting & Finance. Started with two (2) direct reports and grew the function to have five (5) direct reports, with 1½ full-time equivalent having Human Resources related duties. Continued to implement HR Programs as in previous position as Manager.

As a department of one, this position was responsible for implementing many components of the company’s organizational development and productivity plans.
