Our goal: to turn clients' goals into realities. In my role as an Account Manager at Ocozzio, I nurtured a selective and assigned group of existing and new healthcare customer relationships. In building these relationships, I assisted with developing our client's brand messaging and image, as well as managed all client projects - overseeing them from start to finish. Communicating with my clients on a day-to-day basis allowed me to understand their deepest marketing needs to help grow their business. With this said, I worked with our copywriters and strategists to make sure all marketing initiatives for that specific client made sense and were ultimately in line with their brand story and main business goals. Then, I would work with the graphic designers to ensure each piece aligned with the client's overall look and brand. It was up to me to communicate client needs effectively to internal teams to give Ocozzio the best chance at producing marketing materials for that specific client that surpassed their expectations. A few projects and materials I oversaw were websites, brochures, email campaigns, direct mail campaigns, trade show materials, all sales materials, and much more. Of course, no one client is the same - so adapting my communication style to each client and growing relationships through engagement and trust was a big part of this role. And this, to me, was the best part about being an Account Manager at Ocozzio - building relationships and delivering exceptional work.

During my time as a marketing intern behind our collegiate licensed product, Game Day Food Trays, I aided in and initiated many facets of the marketing process including photography, email blasts, targeted mailings, social media, phone calls and face to face meetings with new customers. Since my tenor behind the marketing efforts of our Game Day Trays, sales have increased 39% from year 2016 to 2017 through targeted and strategic efforts, and we are hopeful for the growth of this product in the future.

During this course, I held the title of "Research Manager", along with two other MBA students. As a Research Manager, I - Provided business research consulting services to clients of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center-Oversaw the work of a Research Associate in the formulation and delivery of research services- Developed deliverables to small business clients such as market characterization, customer profile and demographics, competitive analysis, industry trend analysis and macro-environmental scanning.- Equipped a consumer goods start-up with a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape to inform a request for funding-Provided a novel, education-focused startup with industry insights and local market data to inform business planning- Aided a large manufacturer in process evaluation to inform related strategic decision-making

As a Branch Manager, I had the privilege of starting and leading my own small business around the Hixson area of Chattanooga called "Student Painters". My goal was to hire a team of painters to perform residential paint work on the jobs I sold. Overall, I marketed, advertised, interviewed, cold called and sold $7,000 worth of work. Mayor Andy Berke named February 27th "Student Painter's Day" in the Chattanooga Area.
