Hi, I'm William, I am a self-taught, full-stack developer, with over 4 years of experience. I mainly use JavaScript/TypeScript for my projects, however I am also familiar with other programming languages. In short, I'm mainly interested in backend development, sysadmin, cybersecurity and DNS.I have helped multiple projects get accepted onto Mozilla's Public Suffix List (PSL), as well as have secured a Cloudflare Enterprise plan sponsorship for my project, is-a.dev. In my free time, I volunteer to triage requests to the PSL, maintain infrastructure behind multiple subdomain services, and also help with a free hosting service.I started programming at the age 11, in JavaScript, coding Discord bots. Since then, I have expanded my knowledge to multiple programming languages and have expanded my skill set. Not even one year into my programming journey, I started volunteering at is-a.dev, a free subdomain service, which allowed me to form new connections and to grow my knowledge of DNS and development even more.Most of my experience comes from my own self taught practices. I manage servers for myself as well as servers for some projects I work for. I am a fast learner, who picks things up quickly. All of my programming language experience has been self taught, through the use of building countless projects and learning new tools and features along the way.
