Currently developing Construction Documents for Oceanwide Center, designed by Foster + Partners, in collaboration with Heller Manus Architects, for Beijing based developer China Oceanwide USA Holdings Company. The project is a two million square foot, mixed-used development located in the Transbay District of San Francisco and comprises two towers, 910 feet and 605 feet in height, respectively.Oceanwide Center features 1.35 million square feet of office space, 265 luxury residential units and 169-key Waldorf Astoria San Francisco hotel. At street level, the buildings are open and transparent to the community; providing a 70-foot high, half-acre public open space with landscaping, sculpture garden, restaurants and a performance venue; all interconnected via pedestrian routes linking Oceanwide Center to the urban grid of the City.

LUMINA, a Tishman Speyer development project also known as 201 Folsom Street, a 655-unit residential high-rise complex in the Rincon Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. The project consists of two towers, 350 feet and 400 feet in height, respectively, and two 8-story mid-rise buildings, all clustered around a two-story podium with landscaped roof deck, fitness center and spa, 75-foot lap pool, club lounge, theater-style private screening room, business center, and three-levels of underground parking. Completed September 2016.

Scope of work includes renovation of the arrivals and departure halls, upgrades to public spaces and retail lease spaces, and renovation of inspection and detention areas to meet Customs Border Patrol security standards.

Team leader responsible for developing Construction Documents for the expansion and remodel of the Emergency Department at the 295-bed Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Northern California.Hector met with Building Officials, addressed plan check comments and received permit approvals from OSHPD, State Fire Marshall, and Santa Rosa Planning and Fire Departments. During construction, issued revisions to the Construction Documents via Instructional Bulletins and PAD forms and tracked the additional costs incurred by these changes.

Hector managed the design, construction and remodel of 24 Target stores throughout California totaling over 3.2 million sq. ft. of retail space. He was privileged to manage the first California SuperTarget store in Moreno Valley combining a traditional Target store with a full service Supermarket containing a Deli, Bakery, Produce and Meat Departments.As project manager, Hector negotiated building sizes, store designs and project schedules with local Building Officials and secured project approvals and building permits from the Planning, Building, Health and Fire Departments in the Counties of Los Angeles, San Diego, Ventura, Riverside, Merced, Contra Costa and Sacramento.

As SOM's lead specifier in San Francisco, Hector wrote the specifications for projects designed by the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Hong Kong offices; including corporate headquarters, banking facilities, high-rise hotels and office buildings, hospitals and research laboratories.
