Job role:• Undertake project management on behalf of GBM, leading its sub-contractors while interacting with multiple vendors of customer engagement. • Understand customer requirement, propose infrastructure design and solution architecture with IBM range of software products. • Provide technical specializations for solution design, services execution, assurance and support for WebSphere Suite of products• Design and technically direct for implementation of IBM infrastructure solutions• Own and prepare proposals, statement of work, determine effort and risk for technical solutions.• Provide technical project management for infrastructure implementation in projects.• Provide technical assistance to marketing, pre-sales and support line teams. • Extend the above mentioned services in the GCC region consisting of UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait.• Project Implementations for WebSphere products on various platforms (including IBM iSeries & zSeries) integrating with other IBM / non-IBM products.Key Projects:- ITA, Muscat –Project Manager and Technical Lead for WebSphere Portal upgrade project. - Al-Futtaim Group – Proposed and implemented secure, scalable and high available WebSphere Portal to cater growth for multiple portal sites including Toyota and Lexus brands. - CIO, Bahrain – First worldwide implementation of WebSphere Portal on z/Linux in 2003. The environment has been updated as per growing requirements. CIO continues to build more applications and services based on the infrastructure built. A similar design is duplicated for the Ministry of Labor and e-Government Bahrain. - Technical Lead: Portal project at MOI (Qatar), Mobility project at DSC (Dubai), Social Integration project at TRA (Abu Dhabi), and Consultant at DUBAL, GDRFAD (Dubai) and Weil Cornell Medical College (Qatar)- Implementation of various projects at Government, Banking and Finance and Retail sectors.

Job role:• Interact with customers to understand requirements, propose and recommend best solutions to enable use of different kinds of architecture for deployment of e-business solutions, mapping business requirements to solution architecture and software components. • Design, implement and support IBM’s e-commerce solutions using WebSphere framework for ISP, ASP environments and Lotus Domino R5 for mail & workflow. • Own and prepare proposals, statement of work, determine effort and risk for technical solution to get clearance for quality assurance and legal.• Prepare pre-priced offerings and brochures for mailer campaigns to enable sales team for winning leads and identify customers where offerings can be sold.• Work with sales team to develop bundled solutions to incorporate their offerings• Remote software support to customers under passport advantage scheme.• Implement IBM Smooth Start service and provide post installation support to install version upgrades, patches, fix-packs, e-fixes and performance tuning for optimum performance according to solution design and architecture. • Consultation and implementation of non-standard installations according to customer design and architecture.
