Project Manager In Fintech Industry- Mpokket
CurrentResponsibilities- Determine and define project scope for the mPokket mobile App & CRM with the business objectives, by working closely with senior product managers. - Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan in Microsoft Project or Projectlibre.- Work with product owners to handle backlogs in Atlassian Jira and new business requests.- Lead meetings by keeping team members focused and facilitating groups to reach timely consensus.- Organize Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups.- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner by aligning with the top line manager & Engineering Heads.- Encourage the timely completion of tasks in a cost-effective manner.- Detect when a process is in trouble; draft impact analysis; propose and implement resolution.- Prepare a budget based on scope of work and resource requirements on the critical and the Govt. compliance related features & projects.- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration in offline and online tools. i.e. Ryver, Google Meet, Google Chat, Email & Slack. - Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. Third party vendors, Partners & Stakeholders).- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress to CEO, CTO, VP of Technology, Engineering Heads, VP of Operations, Strategy & Analytics Team, Marketing & Senior QA Managers.- Help & motivate teams to implement changes effectively.- Manage contracts with third party vendors integrations, partners and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables, by aligning with product managers.- Empower the Scrum Team & shield the Scrum Team from outside influences and distractions to focus on Sprint Goal. - Help to build a productive environment where team members own the product and enjoy working on it.- Reporting to Vice-President of Technology.
