Dittoe PR Account Executives are responsible for executing strategic public relations initiatives. A strong emphasis is placed on strategic account management, media relations, social media management, research and analysis, reporting, content creation and client communications. As an AE, my role included projects in professional writing, event planning, crisis communications, socialmedia, strategic campaigns, branding, and more.- Draft and execute comprehensive communications plans for clients in various industries.- Collaborate with teams of subject matter experts to write and edit marketing communications content such as social media content, newsletters, website content, press releases, byline articles, opinion editorials, blog posts and case studies.- Successfully pitch local, trade and national media outlets across a variety of channels, including broadcast, print, online and radio. - Build relationships with top industry reporters, influencers and bloggers to promote creative company stories, innovative corporate programs and community events.- Draft media statements, talking points, internal communications emails and social media responses for clients whenever an emergent situation occurs.

As the Public Relations Specialist, I worked as client lead on multiple full-time retainer and hourly accounts. My main duties included event management, media relations, public relations, content creation, social media, and website management. I served as a client-company liaison, making sure my clients’ visions were well represented to both internal and external audiences. I also served as amanager over our intern program and directly supervise those individuals. My focus was to increase my clients’ presence via web, media, social media, and marketing efforts.

This role consisted of working as a liaison between the marketing department and the sales team. Data mining, marketing collateral creation, event coordination, and newsletter generation were key to ensuring our sales staff had all the tools needed to make sales. My focus was to keep a cohesive brand and voice across the many products and channels of sales.

As the Inside Marketing & Sales Specialist, anything that fell under the category of marketing was within my scope of work. I created marketing collateral, coordinated trade show participation, planned our quarterly events, re-designed the website from start to finish, increased our digital footprint on social media, cultivated and generated monthly newsletters, and organized team-building events and exercises.

I turned a summer internship into a full-time position with Come Recommended. I served as the main contact for all clients within the social media scope of their contract. I created weekly content calendars for social media postings for 5+ platforms for up to 10 clients at a time in each week. In addition, I researched new platforms as they became available. Data mining to provide easy to readupdates on social media growth and interaction was a personal development of mine within the position that became standard practice.
