The stores were basicallyinventory stores but their individual requirements were different as Consumables store was a normalinventory store, Trim & Accessories needed a more detailed configuration of its items and Dyes &Chemicals store were actually two stores with certain amount of workflow involved and inventorywas managed between them. I Deployed and maintained above mentioned stores at local and international sites. Trained junior engineers on business processes and development strategies. A team of music and computer scientists worked together on an interdisciplinary project whose aim was to store the 18th century music scores of Rostock in a digital archive, which has to provide access and storage mechanisms for the score images and corresponding metadata as well as mechanisms for computer aided scribe identification.Tasks included,• Creation of an XML schema to contain data about scanned music scores and mapping of the schema onto the database.• Seamless connection and query execution between database and the web interface.• Development of web browser user-interface.Tools used:IBM UDB2, Java Servlets, XML, XSL Stylesheets, Apache Tomcat Servlet Container.

The emphasis of the internship was to study the Supply Chain Management process. For this purpose, Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP-II) method was used which provides effective planning of all resources of a manufacturing company. The study also included the understanding of functionality of one such software implementation of MRP-II method.
