Manage the Business Investment Growth (BIG) Team at Warwickshire County Council. My team of Growth Specialists assist businesses in accessing finance for Capital Investment Projects. The BIG Team provides European funded programmes, local grant schemes and finance options for businesses. Manage the start up programme at the Chamber and support businesses across Coventry and Warwickshire about their business start up plans or their new start up businesses. Responsible for performance managing staff working on the Start-up support programmes, setting and monitoring progress towards profiled outputs and budgets.Work with each individual to assess needs and develop a plan for working together. Directly provide, on a one to one basis, the mix of information and expertise that a business needs to be able to start trading. This includes advice on business planning, finance, legal issues, sales and marketing.
