The project consists out of four 940km long offshore pipelines with a diameter of 32”, through the Black Sea at water depths of 2200m. As consultant I am responsible for managing the precommissioning and commissioning operation of the pipeline(s) as well as onshore facilities in Russia and Turkey.

Port Harcourt

Responsible for the construction of a 64km diameter 48” onshore (swamp) pipeline for NNPC. The (EPC) project also contains pigging stations and gas treatment and metering facilities.

Saudi Arabia

Involved in A.Hak’s pipeline project activities in the Middle East, Far East and Africa. The activities include the construction of large diameter water pipelines as well as oil and gas pipelines. The main objective was to increase A.Hak’s market share.

Germany

Responsible for the construction of an underground gas storage system in Epe Germany. The project consist of high pressure pipelines and a compressor station.

Package Manager Reliance Precommissioning KG-D6The Reliance KG-D6 Project consists of an on- & offshore Pipeline System, Subsea Control System, a MEG inject and recovery system and a subsea Umbilical network. The project is situated on the east coast of India in water depths up to 1200 meters. Around 18 to 20 subsea wells will be linked to an Onshore Terminal (OT) through a DWPLEM, PLETS, Jumpers, Manifolds, a new Control Riser Platform (CRP) and gas export pipelines. A shallow water pipeline system consisting of 3 x 24” pipelines is routed from the CRP to the OT, via a Landfall Point.Three 6” MEG distribution flow lines have been installed from the OT to an Umbilical Distribution Hub (UDH) in approximately - 500 m MSL at the DWPLEM. Allseas subcontracted the Pre-commissioning of the Pipeline System, Subsea Control System, MEG inject & recovery system and the Umbilical network to Halliburton.My job consisted out of the management of the Pre- Commissioning package including all technical and commercial aspects.

Responsible for the coordination of the bid preparation for the SSGP in Malaysia (Sabah Sarawak Gas Pipeline Project), 500km 36” gas pipeline including a compressor station and two metering stations.

Responsible for leading bid initiatives in Indonesia for Oil and Gas Projects such as Pipelines, Gas Plants and Compressor Stations.

Greater Jakarta Area, Indonesia

Responsible for the management of Nacap’s onshore pipeline and facilities construction activities in Indonesia. Duties included cost estimating, tender preparation and contract negotiations. Also responsible for the management of awarded projects including engineering and subcontracts.

Singapore

Responsible for the overall management, marketing and contract negotiations of intelligent pigging projects within the Asia Pacific region. Also responsible for all technical aspects during the execution of projects.

The projects were located in Europe, North and South America, Russia, Middle East and Asia. The duties included all technical and commercial aspects

Responsible for the tendering and execution of international pipeline construction projects. During one year based in Nigeria, being responsible for the construction engineering of a (gas) pipeline system through the Niger Delta, the Escravos Lagos Project. Diameters 8 to 24 inches, total length 100 km The majority of the pipelines had to be laid in the swamps but there were also some 10 larger rivers to cross with widths of up to 2,5 km.Responsibilities, amongst others, included all field engineering, method statements, welding methods, laying methods, river crossing design, buoyancy calculations, stress calculations (using dedicated software), planning and progress reporting, consumables (welding rods, joint coating materials and cp materials) monitoring, crew composition, equipment allocation, hydrotesting and commissioning (using methanol slugs)

Responsible for management of the international pipeline service department, specialised in pigging, hydrotesting, pipeline drying and commissioning. Duties included bidding, contract negotiations and the commercial and technical follow-up of ongoing projects. During one year based in Kuala Lumpur in the function of Branch Manager.
