In my current role as a Head of PMO Functions I actively drive the consolidation of Henkel into two business units with a focus on the implications on the functions. Directly working with the CEO, the CFO and the CHRO allows me to influence our priority of a more efficient set-up and way of working. With this I actively contribute to the future growth of Henkel. Be it with the savings generated or the new organizational set-up implemented. In my former role as Regional President and Regional CFO for Henkel in Latin America, I further developed our business and presence in the region. Particularly in the Finance area, I did this by preparing our organization for the future with a focus on team skills, business proximity and the understanding that our financials are the x-ray of our operation.As an environmental scientist with a doctorate in Economics, I learnt early on how important it is to think holistically and in interconnected systems. Following Werner von Heisenberg - “We always have to remember that what we observe is not nature herself, but her response to our method of questioning” – I believe in the power of curiosity and am convinced that the creativity and intelligence of groups is always bigger than of any individual.My motivation as a leader is to build strong, caring relationships and act with courage and passion to provoke new ways of thinking, acting, and collaborating. With this believe, I can motivate everybody to develop into a better self every day and to be courageous to think differently. By bringing diverse individuals together, building a fundament of trust and giving them purpose and direction, I built high performing teams. Teams which strive for transcendental growth - growth that goes beyond numbers and is sustainable due its strong fundament.In my personal life, I live up to my passion for the mountains, trail running, for good food and for Latin America.
