I want to better support SIG's long-term customers in maturing their software assurance process. It is my firm belief that objectively tracking software quality and security is an essential component.The work includes: * Building the Customer Success Management department at SIG, formalizing and implementing processes to improve and standardize onboarding and adoption* Staying in touch with stakeholders to understand context, wants and needs and provide support where needed* Activating and stimulating Sigrid users.* Building a community, including the setup and organization of regular Ask-me-anything sessions.* Voicing customer needs to the SIG product team internally and Sigrid-developments externally.

Supporting SIG's long-term customers in embedding and understanding our Sigrid Software Quality Assurance Platform from a content-perspective. Creating training materials and performing them. Managing the customer relation and ensure SIG and Sigrid deliver value for the customer.On the side, I guide and train new colleagues on our internal organisation, products and services.

Uncovering technical and business client needs and matching them to SIG’s product and services. Aims to maximize value to our clients on IT quality measurements, valuation & process. Provides standardized and holistic insight and recommendations on IT, to support business strategies.

As an IT Management Consultant I work in multiple concurrent projects as lead to SIG's technical specialists. During short, 6-8 week assessments we get to the core of the issue. We find evidence in the code and development processes and give advice on how to move forward - including a prioritized roadmap and impact on both finances and other resources. My role is to ensure we are of value to our customers. To manage my project's budget, time and scope. To identify our client's business questions and support our Account Managers in writing sales proposals. To amplify my team's strenghts and provide them a platform to grow further.Next to these projects I give training of our Software Portfolio Platform called to our customers. I developed the training materials and provide these trainings. After a four day training, our customers are equipped to use our platform in their day-to-day work prioritization, goal setting and progress tracking.Key competences developed:* Being able to communicate with all types of stakeholder, be it management level, architects and product owners and developers* Developing training materials and use them to train our customers on using SIG's tooling in development and governance processes* Sales support: identifying the right questions, mapping them to our services. Support our Account Managers on the technical and tooling-side.

I was asked to temporarily support our Nordics office in expanding the team. Next to my delivery and sales tasks as IT Management Consultant, I trained multiple new colleagues on the aspects of software quality and the SIG way of working. I did this through dedicated training sessions, providing extra coaching during delivery and matching questions from our Nordics office to key knowledg holders in other departments of SIG.It was meant as a temporary job for 6 months and I am very grateful we were able to extend the period to almost 1 year. I lived abroad for most of this period.Key competences:* Coaching and training of new colleagues - from junior to senior - in getting proficient in delivering projects according to SIG's standard.* Connecting our Amsterdam and Copenhagen offices through sharing knowledge* Continously delivering the value of SIG's high quality standards to our customers while working with junior teams.

As a Software consultant I advise SIG's customers on the technical quality aspects of softwaresystems and software engineering practices, based on my practical and academic knowledge of software. In a typical assessment my role is to support our team in answering the client's business questions. My role is to analyse the software code on aspects like Maintainability, Performance Efficiency, Reliability and Usability. This is done through SIG's proprietary tooling and interviewing and validating results with stakeholders.As a Software Consultant I developed the following key skills:* Being able to analyse widely different technologies and architectures - from Cobol to .net Microservices-systems on the aspects of the ISO25010 standard for Software Product Quality* Being able to create common understanding between all stakeholders through interviews and validation session with our clients.

In a Scrum-team responsible for the mijn Delta Lloyd (my-environment)-project. mijnDL discloses several services Delta Lloyd has to offer and aims to add the remaining ones as well. Challenges lie in managing stakeholders' expectations while keeping up speed and agility, and delivering solid code.

Procam provides coaching during the first two years of my career at Delta Lloyd/BeFrank, focussing on soft skills and providing a platform to discuss experiences amongst other Procam trainees and more experienced workers.

BeFrank is a young and small pension provider. We actively involve clients in our products, requiring an agility of both the development team as well as the business. My job is to research the usability of the new Synergy Enterprise appearance, layout and functionality. This is done by usability tests with several customers. Analysis of the results of these experiments then reveals the occurring problems and hence provides guidance in improvement.

As PHP developer I worked alone or in a small team on multiple smaller projects. I also developed some larger applications from scratch -- think of an in-house CMS and webshops. Besides PHP I also learned to master Javascript/AJAX, CSS, HTML, and XML.

By doing research and experiments with software developers and students, we try to gain some insight in the way software developers use software architecture documentation. A cognitive approach was chosen using the Think Aloud method. The application of Grounded Theory revealed a great number of new directions to be investigated and provided a focus within those as well.
