Lead team of 4 engineers to mitigate 151 components marked as End-Of-Life, reducing opex significantly within 75% of the projected time.o Lead team to find root-cause of a critical failure affecting key customer systems. Analyzed optical, electrical, and mechanical systems to find the failure mode in a critical photodiode assembly, eliminating service outages and an Innovation Award Nomination.o Designed stations and experiments for key electrical and optical performance parameter testing. Performed more than 80 evaluations with a variety of laboratory techniques deriving in multimillion revenue recue.o Filed 5 innovation disclosures, resulting in 2 patent filings, with 1 in publication.- DVT of optical transmitters/receivers, EDFAs, RF amplifiers, etc. - Manufacturing site support, cost containment/reductions, troubleshooting, EOL, etc. - New components evaluation/quality assurance, research for product improvements, innovation.- - Technical knowledge of RF test equipment: network analyzers, electrical and optical spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF power meters, signal generators, etc. - RF measurements and experience with DOCSIS, OFDM, PONs, etc.
