Was part of the Graduate Program where I was working with the Quality Assurance Team in the new state of the art automated manufacturing plant in Pokeno. I took part in many key projects which involved:Type testing of new products:Ranging from 675 to 2550mm diameter pipes and other products ranging from manhole risers to troughs. Hunua 4: 2550mm diameter pipeline project which spanned for 3km, made sure the 1000 pipes were manufactured and delivered met NZS4058 standards.Puhoi to Warkworth: Ensured Quality Assurance documentation was in order and ensured panels and wing walls were met to NZ standards.

Summer Work Experience Role My role allowed to me maintain quality control of pre fabricated steel reinforcing. I was fortunate to be assigned to work in the construction of the 52 story residential building on Custom Street Auckland, which will be the tallest residential building in the CBD. My role in the project ensured the basement reinforcing diaphragm panels met client requirements and inspect and critic finished fabrications. During the coarse of the project I had read and understand major construction drawings and ensure the specification met design and safety standards. I enjoyed being able to learn new skills and work with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and skills and using their experience and guidance to enhance my skills.
