Working in the LMKR R&D group to design and develop geophysical products for LMKR’s GVERSE suite. I have been part of four key product launches: GVERSE Geophysics, Attributes, Inversion and Predict3D. My responsibilities include:Integrated workflow design and simplification, and overall improvement of the accuracy, efficiency, and applicability of our products according to the market requirements.Analyzing competitor software, identifying and bridging gaps in LMKR functionality to keep our products relevant to the current market scenario.Ensuring the implementation of new and existing features in all geophysical products are scientifically sound.Performing technical sales activities, including creating various case studies on client data to solve complex problems using tools developed by LMKR.Designing and delivering demos, presentations and case studies for Oil and Gas trade shows.

An eight month internship with ION Geophysical where I worked on various aspects of seismic data processing. Besides being part of normal processing operations, I was assigned to study the effect of a tighter bin size on Surface Related Multiple Elimination (SRME) techniques. The objective was to make SRME predictions using a bin size tighter than the acquisition geometry and to investigate its effect on overall multiple elimination.

Worked with WesternGeco, the oil and gas exploration segment of Schlumberger, the world's largest oilfield services company. Main responsibilities, as Department Head of the Data Acquisition section of a seismic crew, included:Managing seismic data acquisition operations, in typically remote locations. This included starting up a crew, managing department logistics and controlling costs, organization of personnel, the day to day running of operations, liaising with other departments, client interaction and end of project aspects of the operation, including detailed operational and technical reports. Currently directly leading a team of 130 personnel over a 16 month assignment in Egypt.Overseeing the technical aspect of operations: ensuring all acquired data conforms to contractual requirements and that the equipment and instrumentation used for acquisition is within specification, identifying and solving problems, scheduling regular tests and performing maintenance on all instrumentation.Ensuring health and safety of personnel, equipment and the environment at all times without compromising the efficiency of the operation.Additional responsibilities, at various times, included:Leader of the Quality Steering Committee - The committee is entrusted with identification and implementation of measures to improve service quality, investigation of service quality breaches and recommendations to avoid any loss of quality or client satisfaction.Training and Development Champion - Responsible for overseeing trainees and new hires through the initial phases of their training.Site Security Officer - Responsible for maintaining the crew's on-site local area network and ensuring all computers comply with the company's IT security standards.

Responsibilities included:Automation of business processes for customers of Ultimus. This included identification of the customer's key processes, designing workflows and documentation, implementation of automated solutions and providing training to the customer's personnel.Design and implementation of all business processes and applications internal to Ultimus Inc.Providing feedback to the product development team regarding possible improvements and potential drawbacks in the final product.
