AYA is a 501(c)(3) youth-led organization dedicated to elevating youth voices within national and state legislature. We are committed to nonpartisan, evidence-based policymaking, and to build the next generation of civic leaders through immersive training, collaborative initiatives, and direct advocacy.- Serve as the state executive within chapter governance and policy.- Works with national committee and leads a group of teens across the state to shape policy.

- Direct and lead the percussion section in a Taiwanese music performance group featuring shows like Dragon Dance and Techno Prince.- Collaborate closely with other musicians, including traditional instrumentalists and techno performers.- Mentor junior percussionists, guiding them in mastering traditional and contemporary percussion techniques.

- Worked with students ranging from 5 to 13 Y.O. one-on-one or in small groups. - Completed administrative tasks, such as grading assignments and maintaining records of student progress.- Utilized digital platforms to streamline the grading process, providing timely and constructive feedback to student.

- Led and coordinated all activities and events for FASCA in North Carolina, organizing cultural workshops, festivals, and volunteer opportunities. - Managed a team of 60+ members and planned 250+ hours of events and meetings.

- Highly selective program; chooses ~6 students from each school; around 40 representatives out of 5000+ students - Provide a student perspective on equity-related matters during meetings and discussions with school leadership.- Serve as a liaison between students and school administration to address concerns and propose solutions for enhancing equity.- Collaborate with fellow ambassadors to develop and implement strategies for fostering a sense of belonging for all students.

- Served as a House Page in the North Carolina General Assembly, sponsored by Representative Allen Buansi (District 56)-Observed and assisted voting sessions and committee meetings, including Veteran Affairs, University Education, and Judiciary. - Engaged with House members and leaders, learning about bipartisanship and legislative dynamics through the passage of HB 942 (SHALOM Act) from first to third readings.- Program is highly competitive, and applicants are appointed by the Speaker of the House via recommendation of a Representative.

- Led a small group of high school students in the NC Research Triangle Area in a partnership with Jing Shan Elementary School in Miaoli, Taiwan.- Held virtual classes with students twice a week, along with teacher-only meetings when needed.
